POWER CHUCKS
Many reputed industries have their machine shops fitted with "JAWS" power chucks on their CNC machines, Capstan and standard lath machines too.

These chucks were earlier manufactured by M/S Batliboi & Co. in collaboration with Reishauer of Switzerland. These chucks are uniquein design and accuracy with no scroll, no cams but with screw, rack and pinion drive.

This is a new concept of machineing components without the drawbacks mentioned above. We have to make a pair of holders suitable for your part, fix them on mounting pads, hold the part in the chucks, set all the tols required for all the faces, and start machining, after first face is completed.
Pull clutch lever Turn the part partly with hand Release the lever Continue to turn the part until you hear a click assuring that the part has indexed exactly by 90 or 180 degrees (provision can be made for different angles also) Clamping can also be done with pneumatic/ hydraulic cylinder

ROTARY CYLINDERS

These high speed Rotary Cylinders with or without through bores are used for actuating Power Chucks/ Collect Chucks on any machine. The compact design of the cylinders makes for low mass and moment of inertia. Hardened & ground steel components give long working life under normal operating conditions.
