Krystal Steel Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. , manufactures stainless steel tubes and pipes to cater to the core industries like Refineries, Fertilizer, Dairy. Chemical and petrochemical, pharmaceutical and host of other industries where high performance stainless steel tubes are used in the heat exchangers, economizers, and general piping.

The availability of facilities for Welding, Drawing, Annealing, Pickling, NDT testing under one roof enables us to deliver finished products at short notice. We have a skilled work force of over 120 employees with over 20 Engineers. Delivering custom-made products in time.

Packaging Procedure :

Krystal Steel Manufacturing Pvt Ltd has standardized packing procedure for packing of tubes and pipes prior to dispatch. While formulating the Krystal’s procedure, consideration has been given to the following points based on which the packing procedure is followed.

Customers packing requirement
Size of tubes / pipes ( lot size)
Point of delivery (distance to be covered)
Seasonal effect
Whether sea worthy packing is required
Mode of transportation
In case, where the customer has specified their packing requirements which have been agreed by the company, then Krystal Steel follows the requirement as per customers drawing, sketch or specifications.
If no such requirement has been specified by the customer, the standard packing procedure will be followed as detailed below.

Lot size :
Lot size is determined based on diameter, thickness, length of tubes / pipes and material handling ease.

•  Tubes upto 25 mm in dia, the lot will contain max of 50 to 60 nos in each bundle. A bundle will be secured with either metallic or nylon     wires at 2 or 3 places depending upon the length.
•  For tubes between 25 to 50 mm, the lot will contain upto a max of 30 to 40 tubes depending upon the diameter, thickness and length of    the tubes / pipes.
•  For tubes between 50 to 75 mm in dia, a lot will contain a max of 20 to 25 tubes in a lot.
•  For tubes 75 mm and beyond the lot size will vary from 10 to 20 in a bundle.

The above lot definition is only a guideline and can be changed to suit the requirement based on practical experience.

Distance :
For long distance delivery (100 kms and beyond), it is the policy of the company to pack tubes in convenient lots as specified above and wrap with polyethylene sheets and pack in wooden crates.

Local delivery :
For local delivery, i.e. distance less than 100 kms, the above lot size is followed but the lots are bundled in jute material and dispatched.

Seasonal effect :
During monsoon, lots are wrapped in plastic cover and pack in wooden box / crates with an additional flexible plastic wrapper.

Sea worthy Packaging :

For export orders, each lot is wrapped with dust protecting polyethylene wrappers or suitable plastic covers and each lot is strapped before packing in strapped wooden box to hold the lots of tubes / pipes in static condition during transit.

Mode of Transportation :

In transit security and safe transportation of the material is of equal importance to meet the timely delivery and in turn customer’s satisfaction. Hence we at Krystal Steel always rely on best of the service providers after analyzing the same on various credentials such as past records, conditions of vehicles, authentications of agency and driver etc.

The above procedure is practiced to offer the best quality material packed and delivered in a best way to have Total Satisfaction for all. It could be changed for continual improvements to suit the requirement based on practical experience and valued suggestions.
