AMF controller is micro controller based product that is meant to protect and control EA (Engine Alternator) in absence of Mains power supply. It monitors main supply and if there is any voltage unbalance or phase failure, it transfers load to DG by making DG ON, considering all parameters that are associated with DG. Furthermore it contains a three phase AC voltage measuring circuit & is equipped with LCD display and 4 digits of 7 segment display presenting all values and alarms. It is equipped with various Industrial Communication Protocols.

Most of the commercial & Industrial installations in the country have large electrical loads which are severely inductive in nature,such as motors, large machines, air conditioners, drivers etc. Whichresults in a severely lagging power factor. This means loss & wastage of energy and heavy penalties by electrical boards. In case of fixed loads this can be taken care by manual switching of capacitors However in case of rapidly varying & scattered loads it becomes difficult to maintain a high power factor by manually switching on /off the capacitors in proportion to variation of load within an installation.
