The company was established in 1969, by Mr. M. G. Manjrekar (Proprietor), under the name "Raj Engineering Works." With over 35 years of expertise in the field of Plastic Extrusion, both, Mr. Manjrekar & "Raj", have become synonymous with quality extruders. In 1999, the leadership mantle was passed on to Mr. Manjrekar's son, Mr. Mangesh. The company also changed its name to "Rajtruder Engineering Works". It is one of the oldest surviving Extrusion machinery manufacturer in India and has an enormous loyal base of Customers to prove it. The initial philosophy of providing the customer with the best value for his money continues to this day.

Caterpuller
This Caterpuller is used as a haul-off unit for Pipe plants and Profile extrusions. It is fitted with two rubber belts driven by a D.C. Drive unit. Speed of the unit can be controlled within a range of 0 to 20 ft. per minute. The centering of the belts as well as the opening between the belts can be manually adjusted. The belts provide proper pull of the extrude.

Grinder
Blades : Are H.C.H.C. (High Carbon High Chromium) tipped with a hardness of 60 on the Rockwell C Scale. Blades are fitted by means of high-tension bolts. Fixed Blades are housed in the Chambers and are provided with adjusting bolts. Also provided is a separate arrangement to lock the blades in place and prevent their dislocation even when subjected to heavy operating loads.

Winder
This Two-station Winder is used for winding film extruded from our blow film extruders. An Ebonite roll and a Synthetic Rubber roll are fitted. The winder is provided with a ½ H.P.D.C. Motor and 2 nos. of ½ H.P. Torque Motors. The winder is provided with a mechanical arrangement to adjust the tension and speed . A slitting arrangement can be provided on the Winder. The width of the rolls is in accordance with the maximum width of the film that is to be extruded.
