ORGANISATION :
Jagatik Marathi Chamber Of Commerce & Industries (JMCCI) is a leading world-wide organization of Marathi speaking
Business Community. The JMCCI was founded by Mr. Manohar Joshi (Former Speaker of Loksabha) and
Mr. Chandrakant Salunkhe, Executive President. It was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, the
then President of India on 6th February, 1994 at New Delhi.
OBJECTIVES :
Our main object is to bring together Marathi speaking Business fraternity from across the world to establish and enhance
business contacts. We provide information and assistance on the business opportunities available in domestic as well as
international markets. The JMCCI also encourages and promote entrepreneurship amongst the young generation.
ACTIVITIES :
l
Identify and Interact with potential Business Partners, Buyers, Collaborators, Investors in India and Abroad
and also offer assistance to its members in Financial & Business tie-ups.
l
Provide guidelines to Global companies to locate appropriate business partners in India.
l
Regularly organise one-to-one meetings with visiting foreign trade missions.
l
Represent industry and trade sectors at the State and Central Governments and other
authorities to discuss and solve their problems.
l
Lead business delegations to participate in national and international level conferences,
trade fairs and exhibitions.
l
Consistently interact with Embassies, High Commissions, Consulates, Trade Commissions,
and organisations and Chambers of various countries representing trade and commerce.
l
Organise business networking / interaction meets, summits, conventions, conferences and
seminars on national and international issues.
l
Render specialised services in market research, product & services marketing, project
reports, agricultural and agro-based industry, etc.
l
Publish a bi-monthly journal to disseminate information of relevance to industry & trade.

Membership is open to all sectors of industry, trade and services, individuals, manufacturing / trading / services
companies / firms in the public, private or co-operative sectors, commercial bodies, organisations in agriculture,
dairy farms, financial institutions, professionals, etc.
