Pressure Balanced Bellows are used in piping system where pressure loads are critical, and where complex axial and lateral movements are involved with limited space. Using a pressurized bellows outside the system to counteract forces generated by bellows inside the system, large axial and lateral movements can be absorbed.

The most reliable form of flexible joint is Gimbal Joint capable of absorbing angular motion in all planes. The incorporation includes of absorbing angular motion in all planes. The incorporation includes a pair of hinges connected to a floating Gimbal ring which has a very special advantages like absorbing pressure thrust, supporting the dead weight of the system, transmission of wind & shear loads through the Gimbal Structure. These joints usually in pairs will permit piping to float in relation to the terminal points.
