Eye Bolts
Eye bolts (eyebolts) are threaded
bolts with a loop or eye at one end. The eye is used
to anchor a cable, rope or chain. Eye bolts are
rated for different types of applications and may
pivot or swivel. Load-rated eyebolts are designed
for vertical lifting, but are not recommended for
angular lifting. Eye bolts that are not load-rated
are designed for use with tie downs and guiding
wires; however, they are not suitable for lifting
applications.
Specifications for eyebolts include
maximum load capacity, threaded length, shank
length, eye inside diameter (ID), eye section
diameter or eye thickness, and total weight. Maximum
load capacity is the maximum load which an eyebolt
can handle. For fully-threaded eyebolts, shank
diameter equals the thread length.

Nuts and bolts
Nuts are fasteners that are designed
to fit around and secure a bolt or screw. The
application determines the type of nut to use.
Bolts are threaded rods or pins that
fasten objects together. They usually have a head at
one end and a thread at the other. Bolts are secured
by threaded nuts, and are available in both metric
and non-metric designations. Metric nuts vary by
inner diameter (ID) and are usually labeled with the
letter M followed by the ID in millimeters (mm).
For example, M.16 bolts have an inner diameter of
1.6 mm, while M2 bolts have an ID of 2.0mm.
Non-metric bolts also vary by inner diameter, but
are measured in inches (in) and eighths of inches.
Although some English bolts are labeled by ID,
others carry a specially-numbered designation.
Examples include #0000, #000, #00, #0, #1, and #2
bolts.

Abrasive discs
Abrasive discs consist of abrasive
grains applied to a backing made of cloth, fiber,
film, paper, non-woven, or other material.
The abrasive grains remove surface
materials such as metal, ceramics, glass, plastics,
and paint. Consequently, abrasive discs are used in
wet and dry grinding, sanding, cleaning, polishing,
and surface preparation in a variety of industries,
including metalworking, woodworking, ceramics, and
semiconductors. A discs backing, abrasive grain,
grit size, and mounting help determine its
applications.

Specialty hardware
Specialty hardware includes specialized or
proprietary hardware or hardware systems. There many
different types of specialty hardware products.
Examples include specialized or proprietary wire
rope and control cable fittings, bumpers, drawer
slides, flexible support arms or goosenecks,
grommets, casters, and wheels. Specialty wire rope
and control cable fittings include specialized or
proprietary clips, sleeves, stud ends, eyes, forks,
and other hardware used to construct mechanical
cable assemblies.
Specialty bumpers are elastomeric hardware devices
used for edge protection, cushioning, and impact
absorption. Specialty drawer slides use guides,
bearings or rollers to support drawers and
facilitate their motion. Specialty goosenecks are
flexible support arms for mounting devices such as
illuminators and magnifiers. Specialty grommets are
eyelets that are used to strengthen or protect an
opening, or to insulate and protect an object
passing through an opening. Specialty casters are
complete wheel and horn assemblies that attach to
equipment to allow movement. Specialty wheels are
solid discs or rigid circular rings that attach to
specialty hardware assemblies such as casters to
allow movement.
