Flexible Shaft Couplings

It adjusts itself to the misalignment (angular, parallel, skew) of the two shafts connected by it & transmits torque & motion from one shaft to the other. Features include one piece construction made of aluminium alloy or stainless steel material. Flange or set screw clamping. Offset adjustment upto 5 Deg. and parallel upto 0.2 No. backlash with constant velocity transmission. These coupling are widly used to couple tachogenerators, encoders etc.

AC Tachogenerators give you AC Voltage output proportional to speed of its mover. They are generally used in applications for indication and display purposes. Frequency of 2 pole, 8 pole and 48 pole will produce 16.66 Hz, 66.66 Hz and 400 Hz respectively.
