Torque Limiter

It can be fitted between the prime mover and the equipment or at any intermediate stage. Its applications are innumerable and can be used for almost any application, thereby preventing the damage to the main equipment due to overloading. It can be used as a coupling or can be mounted to take chain sprockets, gears, pulleys etc.

Planetary Creep Drive

TRANSMATIX, a leading manufacturer of Planetary Gear Drives, has come out with specially designed Planetary Creep Drives for overhead cranes. TRANSMAITX MAKE Planetary Creep Drives has a nominal ratio of 10 : 1 and are ideal for getting positive creep speed for full load. All the gears are made from proper grades of alloy steels and hardened. The foot brackets and housings are made of cast steel.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
The input shaft of the Creep Drive is connected to the creep motor and the output shaft is connected to the main motor. The complete creep gear box is free to rotate on bearings which are fitted in foot pedestals. The shoe brake is fitted on the base and is applied on the outside diameter of the ring gear. In normal running, the brakes are open, main motor is running and creep motor is stationary. In creep mode, the creep motor is running, the main motor is off and the brakes are on.
