VIBRO - FIN SMA Series Machines

In these machines there is in-built part-media seperation arrangement.

At the end of the process cycle flapper is lowered into the bowl manually & part media mixture is carried over to the seperation screen. The media will fall back in the bowl & parts come out of machine.

80 % to 100 % seperation can be achieved depending on various paramaters. This type should be opted when part / media seperation is feasible by screening method.

These machines are used when 100 % part-media seperation is required.

The basic change in these machines is spiral path inside the bowl. The part media mixture moves in spiral path from minimum to maximum level. During seperation cycle flapper is inserted at the maximum level & mixture is transferred to seperation screen. The spiral geometry ensures that 100 % mixture is carried to screen & hence 100 % seperation.

The movement of flapper is outside media zone & it is reactangular in shape which makes it ideal for fully automatic speration using pneumatic actuation. (which can not be ensured in SMA series)

In this type of SUPER-FIN machine barrels can not be removed from the machine or unloading/ loading. Barrels are kept fixed in the machine because it is not possible to remove barrels manually from the machine as it will be very heavy due to larger volume).

In this SUPER-FIN barrel content (parts, media, water & finishing compound) is unloaded on a vibratory sorting table placed below. The motorised inching for turret & barrel is provided. With this provision individual barrel can be positioned over sorting table & then barrel can be rotated slowly to unload the content inside on the vibratory sorting table. Through sorting table water is removed to drain, part & media seperated by size seperation using suitable perforated screeen.

Axis of barrel rotation can be straight or skew as required for the process. The turret & barrel RPM can eighter be fixed or varible using VFD.
