Hydraulic Vacuum Filters |
Working :
A perforated top vacuum chamber is placed at the bottom of dirty coolant tank. Machine outlet lets dirty coolant in this tank. A pump sucks coolant through filter paper laid on top of vacuum chamber, leaving dirt on filter paper. Pump suction generates vacuum increasing dirt layer thickness & hence finer filtration.
After preset level of vacuum is reached, it is broken temporarily by opening actuated by-pass valve. Part of dirt-laden filter paper is pulled out to be replaced by fresh filter paper. Dirt is dumped in a bin while dirty filter paper is wound on a shaft.
Applications :
Suitable for fine filtration of coolants used in grinding, honing, gun drilling & component washing applications.
Features :
Better filtration is achieved using lesser filter paper. This gives better quality at lesser operational cost. Can handle more viscous fluids. Totally automatic operation. Can be built as individual machine unit or centralized plant. |

Eco Type Paper Band Filters |
Working :
Fluid with dirt is exposed to finned magnetic separator first. After magnetic separation the fluid drops in paper band filter trough. A float-actuated clutch derives motion from a common drive & indexes dirty filter paper.
Applications :
Suitable for fine coolant filtration for honing, grinding, lapping, gun drilling etc., for small individual machines.
Features :
• Very compact. Magnetic separator & band filter combination is accommodated within
• 150 mm above the tank top, reducing the floor area for same volume of tank.
• Band filter unit is mounted on rollers for ease of shifting during tank cleaning.
• Common drive for magnetic separator & paper band filter, makes it economic.
• No electrical panel hence reduced cost & maintenance.
• Dirty filter paper is wound on a mandrel for easy disposal while the dirt collected is stored in a bin.
• Absence of conveyer, shafts, rollers, makes it more maintenance friendly. |

Self Cleaning Filters |
Self Cleaning filter holds multiple elements ( based on flow capacity ) housed in a pressure vessel. The dirty fluid enters from the bottom into the inner side of these elements. The dirt starts accumulating on the inner surface. This accumulated dirt increases the differential pressure, which is sensed by a pressure switch.
On reaching a set differential pressure an dedicated panel start the backwash cycle.
A rotating arm, placed under the elements, connects the element opening to atmospheric pressure. As the complete housing is operating at a higher pressure, the fluid starts a reverse flow from outside to inside for that particular housing. This flow dislodges the accumulated dirt on the inner surface and that particular element is backwashed.
After a set time delay the backwash arm rotates to the next element. This countinues until all elements are backwashed. Various elements of filtration level upto 150 micron are available. Number of elements in the housing are decided on the process, flow and dirt load.

Flat Bed Multi Plate Pressure Filters |
Working :
Dirty fluid is fed under pressure in to inlet manifold. It is distributed equally in 4 different plates. Filter papers clamped & supported between plates separate the dirt & form a layer (cake). This effects finer filtration. The same filter with pre-coating can add further to fineness of filtration.
Applications :
Suitable as centralized fine coolant filtration for finish grinding, filtration of high viscosity grinding fluids & filtration of honing oil with pre-coat arrangement.
Features :
• Very large filtration area is accommodated relatively small dimensions. The unit shown is having 10 m2 filtration area.
• Totally automatic pneumatically actuated operation.
• Dirt is purged with compressed air to recover fluid.
